Berkshire pigs are considered a heritage livestock breed. Introduced to the United States in the early 1800s, Berkshires are generally black with white markings that vary from pig to pig.

Our Berkshire pigs live in a spacious wooded paddock next to our orchard where they have plenty of room to run, root, and wallow. They are raised without the use of any hormones or antibiotics, and are fed only grain from McGeary Organics in Lancaster, PA. along with fruits and vegetables from our orchard.
